Yes, most visitors need a ticket. Full price is €7, and every ticket has a time slot. You must arrive within the slot you chose when buying. There is no official skip-the-line entry, so a ticket protects admission, not your timing around it.

The full price rose from €5 to €7 on 1 July 2026. On free first Sundays there is no online booking: you queue at the entrance for a free ticket.

Your Ticket Has a Time Slot
When you buy online, you choose a date and an entry slot. That slot is not a suggestion. Arrive outside it and your ticket may not get you in.
